Armando has been invited to speak in a panel in which data providers will share their insights.
He will specifically highlight how RavenPack Analytics, based on structured and unstructured data, help quantitative and fundamental managers for asset management, brokerage & market-making, and risk & compliance.
Whether data is traditionally or alternatively sourced, the steps to make it consumable remain the same: normalization, valuation, determining units of count, storage, distribution and access.
The growth of artificial intelligence/machine learning and other emerging technologies may offer additional challenges at points within the management process. This session is about getting data ready for the breadth of new technology available, who worries about it, what they have to fear and how easy or difficult it is to overlay certain technologies with particular data sets.
