    Head of AI & ML, Customer Solutions Engineering, Dow Jones

    For the last 18 years, James has worked in the financial services sector, providing subject matter expertise around Artificial Intelligence, Solution Design, SWIFT payments, Financial Compliance and Project Management.

    He has built, developed and led multiple teams in Anti Money Laundering and Data Quality engagements all over EMEA, MENA and APAC. Having worked in senior management for the London subsidiary of an Israeli Bank, a Global AML screening vendor and one of the "Big Four" audit consultancies, James has a unique understanding of the various aspects of client needs. James now spends his time setting out a vision for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning products and services for Dow Jones. He regularly writes about Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for business leaders in his organization and beyond, as well as writing and presenting webinars, training courses, marketing material and solutions. James also presents at public speaking engagements and participates in panels, raising awareness of the key considerations for the best use of technology.

    Simon Rodda is the strategy lead for the institutional financial markets business at Dow Jones, providing insights and market intelligence to the product strategy teams.

With over 40 years of industry experience, both in the hot-house of a real-time news room and working with clients, data scientists and technologists to build best-in-class solutions, he brings informed insights to the challenges facing clients today. Simon has been with Dow Jones since 2001, working in a number of product management, product marketing, and product development roles. Prior to this, he managed a news partnership at the then Thomson Corporation (now part of Refinitiv) with Dow Jones. Before stepping over to the business side of news, Simon spent nine years as managing editor of a UK stock market news service.

    Tony Guida is executive director – senior quant research at RAM Active Investments.

During his career, he held such positions as a senior consultant for smart beta and risk allocation at EDHEC RISK Scientific Beta and senior research and investment committee for Minimum Variance Strategies, where he led the factor investing research group for institutional clients and a regular speaker at quant conferences. Tony is Chair of machineByte ThinkTank EMEA and editor of the Journal of Machine Learning in Finance and also the author of Big Data and Machine Learning in Investment.

    Peter has more than 15 years of experience in quantitative finance with companies such as Standard & Poor's, Credit Suisse First Boston, and Saxo Bank. He holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance from Sir John Cass Business School along with an undergraduate degree in Economics from Copenhagen University. Peter is a recognized speaker at quant finance conferences on alternative data and AI, and has given lectures at some of the world’s top academic institutions including London Business School, Courant Institute of Mathematics at NYU, and Imperial College London.

As such, he has detailed knowledge of RavenPack's clients and technology and has been a major contributor to the evolving News Analytics industry.

    Kevin has a first-class honors degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Limerick and has studied an Executive MBA at the IE Business School in Spain.
