Over 3000 employees at Airbus went on strike over an unresolved pay dispute. Separately, the company has announced plans to cut over 1100 jobs in Europe. Orpea was the target of lawsuits after an investigation revealed malpractices in its elderly care-homes. The company fired and replaced its top executive over this scandal. A damaged TotalEnergies pipeline caused a limited spill in Ecuador's Amazon forest. A former employee of BNP Paribas was awarded $2.8M in a gender discrimination ruling against the company. It was revealed that a top executive sold shares a few weeks after the care-home investigation started, sparking accusations of insider trading at Orpea.
